Palace Pottery
An installation at the Salve Regina Department of Art
Salve Regina's Department of Art welcomes the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts to Rhode Island with the opening of a special exhibition: "Palace Pottery" in the Ochre Court library.
In this invitational exhibition, four contemporary artists will address the idea of ornament and decoration in ceramics today. Each artist will offer a unique interpretation of form and decoration in his or her work and its presentation within the unique decorative environment of a historic Gilded Age mansion.
